Dan Campion (Northland College, WI) will start playing basketball at the University of Portsmouth this Fall.
Dan has previously been awarded Northland College’s Male Athlete of the Year and is a former 1st-Team Upper Midwest Athletic All-Conference selection. Playing as a shooting/point guard, Dan be hoping to help Portsmouth challenge in the South East Conference of BUCS competition (the U.K’s NCAA equivalent).
University rules in the United Kingdom allow student-athletes to keep playing college basketball even after using up all their NCAA eligibility. Dan has chosen to study at the University of Portsmouth as it allows him to keep playing, whilst studying for a Master’s degree in Sports Management MSc.
UNILINK SPORTS wishes Dan the very best playing for the University of Portsmouth and living on England’s south coast.
